I got this from Ann Coulter today:

This is one of the intellectuals the Corporate News thinks might have something insightful to tell us so that we can stay informed on the world around us.

A typical woman? No, I'd call her a "gross generalization."

rogers points out that bernanke is not an elected official. i'd also like to add that the federal reserve banking system was likewise not voted on, and has nothing to do with democracy

i wonder if ants ever have existential crises?
May this message travel far and wide: Would any nation (of any planet) please step up and liberate the American people? This country is sliding into chaos. I beg you. Please. Please. Pretty please?

America was conned - who will pay?

"Indeed, it is somewhat surprising that there is not already rioting in the streets, given the gigantic fraud perpetrated by the financial elite at the expense of ordinary Americans." - The Guardian
WOW! A DISCUSSION! THIS IS MUST SEE TV! THANKS GUY'S DAUGHTER! AND IF YOU'RE WATCHING THIS, DO YOU KNOW WHO JOHN O'NEILL IS? OR WAS? DO YOU CARE? IF YOU MIGHT POSSIBLY CARE, AND YOU DON"T KNOW, ARE YOU AFRAID TO CLICK HERE? IF SO, WHY? AND IF SO, FINE, I'LL JUST TELL YOU THEN. BRIEFLY, HE WAS THE FBI'S TOP MAN ON THE BIN LADEN CASE. AND FOR SOME REASON HE ENDED UP STARTING A NEW JOB AT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER JUST A DAY OR TWO PRIOR TO 9/11. THERE HE DIED.

OH, AND I WILL SAY THIS. BILL, I'M JUST LOOKING OUT AT YOU. AND YOU SHOULD WATCH WHAT YOU'RE DOING. I MEAN, YOU SHOULD BE FORCED TO WATCH IT, IN A CLOCKWORK ORANGE SORT OF SCENARIO. AND, UM, JUST FYI, MARTIN AGREES. THAT YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE. AMONG OTHER NEWSWORTHY SUBJECTS.

I can't imagine what it takes for these soldiers to publicly admit to horrendous acts of murder and torture.

The least we can do is sit on a couch and listen. Listen to your sons and daughters. You can't ignore America just because you don't agree with what's happening. If you ignore the atrocities that your country is responsible for, how can anything ever change?

I think anger and sadness are healthy ways to deal with reality. But you have to deal with reality.

Please listen to our soldiers this weekend. These guys are the fucking heroes now.

Seriously though. Look on the bright side.
Sometimes you have to go to a blog with zero readers to find out important information like this:

Americans are engaged in a war in Iraq. That's a country. War is "a state of usually open and declared armed hostile conflict between states or nations," according to merriam-webster.com.

I wonder if George W. Bush will cry when his Mom dies.
AP - Already, though, troubling studies indicate that traces of pharmaceuticals may be harming fish in New York City's Jamaica Bay, within sight of Manhattan's skyscrapers. Researcher Anne McElroy at Stony Brook University has found feminized male flounder there, and she links them to high levels of the female hormone estrone or other estrogenic chemicals discovered in the waterway.

Estrogen also has been found in the city's watershed in recent years. Upstate, the geological survey and state health agency also detected the heart medicine atenolol; anti-seizure drugs carbamazepine and primidone; relaxers diazepam and carisoprodol; infection fighters trimethoprim, clindamycin, and sulfamethoxazole; pain relievers ibuprofen, acetaminophen and codeine; and remains of caffeine and nicotine.

Despite all that, the federal government considers the New York City system to be so clean that it need not filter most of its water, as most big cities are required to do. When the filtering waiver was extended last year, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg exulted: "I've always thought that New York City has some of the best water around, and now we've got confirmation from Washington."

Cheney's office at the White House referred questions to his personal lawyer, who did not return phone calls.

And seriously, PLEASE, all you poor people out there, don't forget to pay your taxes. Okay? Just pay your fair share.
Why all the talk of a revote in Florida? Why the arguments about who will foot the bill? Hello? Ever heard of the Supreme Court? Let them decide our next Democratic candidate.

I find it odd that "the puppy video" has gone MSM. A quick search of youtube or liveleak or about ten other video sites will immediately direct one to countless videos of American soldiers shooting dogs, sheep, people, throwing children, beating women, raping dead old men, you know, the basics of liberation/holocaust. Remember when you were young and you watched Vietnam movies? I do. Especially moments like when the head gets smashed by a rifle in Platoon. It's the first thing I thought about when Hillary voted thumbs way up. She is a dirty political whore. But I guess what makes me sad, as much as I respect nonhuman animals, is that it seems that the masses here in the states have an extremely hard time relating to Iraqi people. There's no such thing as an Iraqi puppy, is there?

"LIBERTY" MEDIA / "NEWS" CORP

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA GEE THANKS GOD FOR MAKING LIFE SO GODDAMN FUNNY WHAT A FUCKIN' JOKSTER

Smart people know what the words 'liberty' and 'news' mean. Successful people are ASSHOLES.

The Discovery Channel is owned by John Malone, the conservative mogul who owns Liberty Media, one of the largest media corporations on the planet. Malone is famous for his complex business deals that involve spinning off media properties with stock offerings that net him millions. He also has just gotten approval to swap his extensive stock holdings in News Corp., Rupert Murdoch's empire, for control of Murdoch's DirecTV satellite television system. When Discovery told Gibney they would not be airing Taxi to the Dark Side, Malone and Murdoch were awaiting approval for the DirecTV deal from the Bush administration's Federal Communications Commission. (It was approved on Monday, the day after the Oscars.)

HBO managed to buy the television rights to Taxi to the Dark Side so the film will find its way to those households that subscribe to premium TV channels. As Discovery wrote to a critical member of the public, "In its first pay-TV window, HBO will debut the film in September 2008. We are proud that Taxi to the Dark Side will make its basic cable debut in 2009 on Investigation Discovery." So Discovery will show Taxi on one of its smaller side channels, after the election, after its business with the Bush administration is wrapped up.
